However, this does not necessarily mean that people cannot hear the difference between digital and audio for a couple of reasons:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1.  Analog does seem warmer.  The digital cliffs can align with the wave that the ear is picking up and thus be detected.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2.  Analog does have distortion as it is turned up. No, not fecal samples, but soil, as in from the earth.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Calibration parameters are very exciting.  Really.  I am so excited to go to work in the morning to discuss the DSMAX parameter.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It's important to understand non-linear baseflow.  At a high value for the &lt;strong&gt;DSMAX&lt;/strong&gt; parameter the baseflow will be higher at lower water content in lowest soil layer.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Other considerations include hydraulic conductivity, soil moisture, available infiltration, soil depth, and snow albedo (and sometimes libido).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I was born with soil samples, and in my adult life, I still wallow in them.
